Intellipure at the Front Line of the Battle Against Coronavirus

The race against the Coronavirus is on to understand and stop the spreading of the Coronavirus, which has infected thousands in a matter of weeks. The newly identified virus, 201--nCoV, has been linked to 170 deaths and has infected nearly 8000 across 16 different countries.

On January 29, 2020, 150 medical-grade Intellipure air purification systems were delivered to hospitals dealing with the respiratory virus in Wuhan, the capital of Hubei province in China. With a population of over 11 million, Wuhan is the 7th most populous Chinese city and the epicenter of the widespread Coronavirus.

Intellipure air purification units are being taken off of a truck by people wearing personal protective equipment.

Intellipure air cleaning units were the first defense against H1N1, commonly known as the “swine flu,” which caused a pandemic around the world in 2009. The influenza virus is very contagious, easily spread, and can be potentially life-threatening. Other non-life-threatening symptoms related to the swine flu include pneumonia, lung infection, and breathing complications. The Intellipure Ultrafine 468 was tested in the Guangzhou Testing Center of Industrial Microbiology Lab for virus aerosol purification efficiency. Three trials were conducted; each trial was 60 minutes in duration. The results showed that in all three trials, the Intellipure Ultrafine 468 destroyed and eliminated the H1N1 virus at greater than 99% efficiency in less than 60 minutes.

The strain H1N1 is actually smaller in size than the Coronavirus which is known to be 0.08 to 0.16 in size. The Intellipure machines are able to capture and eliminate particles considerably smaller than that of the Corona Virus. In fact, each Intellipure air purification system is individually certified and tested to capture 99% of all particles down to .007 micron, removing the most dangerous ultrafine particles including virus, bacteria, and mold.
